Imran Khan- Latest Victim of Puppet Politics.

The way Jamiat's students manhandled Imran Khan was so shocking and infuriating. It was unbelievable to see pictures of him being literally dragged by collar and threatened. I have heard lots of funny stories about Jamiat' student movement in Punjab university to implement their version of Morals. What did they try to prove by taking Imran Khan hostage and handing him over to Police???? These self-appointed saviors of Islam helped the Dictatorial powers to get it hands on Someone who was there on the invitation of students to attend a non-violent protest. Isn't it better to trust an educated man with the responsibility of handling students to stage their rally for democracy instead of some firebrand violence-provoking and self-serving corrupt politician who uses students like puppets and put their lives at risk so that his political agenda is served well? They see bloodshed of workers as a stamp on the validity of their leadership and disappear as soon as their interests are taken care of.

Don't we have an ounce of respect for a person who lead Pakistan to bask in glory of success in cricket and whose unselfish, relentless efforts gave us a Cancer hospital where poor are getting free medical treatment. Who wouldn't agree that Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital can be compared to any cancer facility in any developed country? At least, it is giving a hope of proper treatment and cure to the cancer patients irrespective of their social status.

Its amusing to see that a country where a woman minister had to resign on hugging her French instructor, the male police was used to beat, drag and arrest Imran Khan’s sisters and other ladies of Tehrik-e-Insaf. Didn’t Moulanas feel disgusted now on seeing a woman in tight grip of a man being thrown in a police truck? Don’t we feel our nation’s honor at stake by having such pictures out on media? Where the hell were women police? Why did now we allowed to put our religious, social and moral values put aside so that we could “teach” these “vagabond” out-on-streets “shameless” women asking for the release of their brother? It would be great to make a list of circumstances in which it is allowed to treat women in this barbaric way. Were they suicidal bombers or carrying weapons of mass destruction? What was the exact nature of their crime that let such inhuman treatment to become their fate?
